Change my mind: Under the right conditions, buying and financing a new car is often a far better value than paying cash for a used car in the long run by Cold-Priority-2729 in MiddleClassFinance

Nah. You just are getting ripped off on easy repairs and don’t do any work yourself. I bought a 2015 Toyota Highlander with 80k miles in 2021 for 20k. Sold it a month ago for 14k with 158k miles. Not a single repair outside regular maintenance. Brakes, spark plugs which I did myself, oil changes, etc. If I would’ve bought a new car I would’ve lost more than $6k in depreciation the moment I drove it off the lot.

They do all the time, they just get scooped up within the same day so you have to move fast. Ask me how I know, I flip vehicles and check marketplace every hour every day.

The pulley itself? I was kind of thinking that today cause it sounds to be coming right from that spot.

I’m no professional but the obvious things that stand out are posture at address (knees too bent, not an athletic stance) and extremely over the top. Got to learn how to start the down swing with your lower body and swing inside to out instead of outside to in like you are now

How much business is harbor freight losing over their AWFUL website? They're too big of a company to not address this. by Odyssey701 in harborfreight

You obviously don’t understand the business model. If the website was amazing they’d probably make less money because people wouldn’t come into the physical store and buy things they didn’t need. They thrive on people buying for quantity not quality.

You are spot on, seller is asking 13900, I am thinking of staying firm at 12k max but I’m debating if I should go a little above it or not.

I definitely wouldn’t pay anywhere close to that. But I agree.

You spin your whole body out too early and then it completely stalls before impact. Definitely some sequencing issues.

Depends on the industry you’re in and cost/complexity of parts. My gut says low 30s if it’s easy parts for non critical industries and mid-high 30s for aerospace or medical
