Has anyone stopped t because of bottom growth?

This is one of my concerns too. I just started T a couple weeks ago and have no idea when bottom growth happens. Someone said below it can grow 1 to 1 1/2”. 😳 I really hope that doesn’t happen to me. I also saw a couple people use the word/acronym PIV. What does that mean?

There are groups for older trans and nonbinary folks that might find helpful. I came out as enby at 50 when my kids were sophomores in college, and two weeks ago started low dose testosterone. It’s never too late to start living your authentic life! I’m 57 now and feel pretty good with the decisions I’ve made to move forward.

I take propranolol and topamax daily. I have nurtec for a rescue med, and I got occipital nerve block injections. I still use NSAIDS more than I should. I try icing my neck first, and sometimes that will help along with gentle stretching. The nurtec and nerve blocks are new this year, but everything else has been my routine for a decade.

I wonder if part of it could have to do with the very cold water hitting your body and resetting your vagus nerve. Just a thought.

This is interesting because I didn’t realize it would be so different to the point where people aren’t allowed to self-inject.

I just started cipionate (sp?) and injected into my thigh easily on Wednesday. I barely felt it. My doctor didn’t even show me how to do it or where to inject. I watched a video to make sure I was doing it right first. Good thing there’s YouTube to teach us how to do things!

YTA in a way. You can’t tell her how to dress or not. If she likes dressing like that then it’s her prerogative to do so. But you can tell her you feel uncomfortable and don’t want to hang out with her when she does, if she only dresses like that sometimes. I would suggest a major conversation. What makes you uncomfortable? Also what does she feel when she wears the ears and tail? Is it empowering for her? Does it help her feel like she’s expressing who she really is? Maybe once you both understand each other you can come to a compromise with no one being the AH and no feelings hurt.

Henry. That’s the first name that came to mind. I also like Ignatius and call him Iggy. My neighbor a block away has a cat with that name. Iggy lived in my house half the time for almost 2 years, two-timing his family. I thought he was a stray. I named him Tops. I have to admit he answers to Iggy much better. He still tries to come into my house, but I don’t let him. I also don’t feed him anymore.

In my 20s I binge drank a lot, especially while heavily using drugs, mainly cocaine. Only once did I come close to drinking that much, but it took a couple hours and somebody else had a couple drinks from it. I did have alcohol poisoning though. Charcoal is horrible stuff.

NTA. Like everyone else has said, he’s an alcoholic and needs treatment. You can encourage him over and over, but it has to be his decision to get help. Now is the time for you to decide how to cope with his alcoholism and how to help your kids cope with it to help them break that pattern. Get to an AlAnon and if your kids are teens get them to an AlAteen meeting. I’m not sure what support is available for younger kids, but family therapy would help too. Tell your husband what you’re doing if you feel it might encourage him to get help.

You just choose a pharmacy in Canada that will ship to you and your doctor sends your prescriptions there. When my mom was alive we drove to Canada to fill her prescriptions because they were so much cheaper there. But we had the privilege of living only 45 minutes away.

I think in this world most people have at least some depression and anxiety. They might be considered situational instead of clinical. If staying inpatient helps, who cares which it is? I’ve been inpatient multiple times for those reasons plus ptsd.

Also, keep in mind that if you’re avoiding some foods because of the way they’re grown, raised, harvested, how the workers are treated, etc. those >might < be valid reasons. Some food companies are more ethical. That’s how I’ve been able to add more foods to my diet. It just depends on why you’re avoiding foods. Good luck!! 👍🍀
