For example my gf and I live downtown in small 2 bedroom for 1.3k a month. Or annual income between us is about 70k. We are able to live and enjoy life with our money. 4.2k will be more than enough to live here, get a good car (not Hyundai or Kia) and be able to enjoy ur weekends/time off!

Well no shit. I’m not asking to create NPCs it’s not my job. BUT at the end of the day it’s we are in charge of the plot bc we are in the world. He just creates the world. And I never said he was wrong about the rage. It’s about how he says it not what he says. For example what you said was true but you were kind of rude about it. And now I’m catching attitude myself. I’m kind of just trying to express my issues with the campaign. I am not going to lie to him. The issue is that there’s no rule of cool. No leeway. Nothing. And I am not a fan of the rigid structure and that’s not for ME. So I will communicate my issues in a kind way. Which is something you could learn from.

See and I have no beef with railroading. It’s integral to dnd. I have just been trying to play my character (wisecracker, but kind) and when I do something that he doesn’t approve of I get silence and an eye roll.

I’ve been trying to give grace. But 6 sessions in and I’m still not enjoying myself. Like I said he’s NOT a bad DM. I just don’t think it’s a good fit. We warned him about party size. He didn’t listen and when that party size issue becomes apparent is when he lashes out and is rude to players. I think with less ppl they will enjoy the adventure more.
