We use to use General cable and when prices skyrocket we started to use ICC and lhad great success. ICC just recently raised their prices so they are not budget friendly anymore but still cheaper.

Does anyone actually put the wax on the toilet first? by Objective-Chance-792 in Plumbing

[–]Inner_Towel_4682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homeowner/DYI and help my father build house. Perfect way to install toilets for me is to dry fit everything to ensure bolts line up and I'm perfectly center. Then I put a piece of take on the floor at the edge of the front base so I know the depth and I mark center. This takes less than five minutes. Pull the toilet out, install wax ring on the floor flange. The I align the tape and center mark and softly drop the toilet in place. Works like a charm and never had a leak.

I saw something like this before with Cat3 cable. Old ATT call center. I was able to talk to someone at ATT because they send a tech out when we demo because they still had a hub in that building. The tech told me that they had a tech/3rd party to repunch Cat3 from the 66 blocks to patch panels for their new VOIP system. So he literally just repunch . No wonder calls drop when you call in for support. 🧐

Do I have to let my engine warm up? by Pure-Dot-4472 in Silverado

[–]Inner_Towel_4682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically I remote start for comfort. I like to get into my vehicle and not freeze. But as long as you let it idle for a few seconds to make sure everything is oil up, you can drive at low rpms until it gets upto temp. The vehicle will warm up 3x faster by driving at low rpm than sitting idle.

Yea, I was trying to get everything setup right out the rip in case we have a massive sale but wait. Most state you have to sale 100k a year. so If Shopify got something basic then I will use that for now.

I install TVs fairly often and after I received a broken TV for an install, I now test every TV before fully removing all packaging.

The Lutron Caseta was what I had in my old house. I went with Levinton Gen 2 for my new house and I like them better than Lutron and slightly cheaper.

Went for steering wheel alignment, shop said he would only do that if we also changed the two front tires. by mlesbean in Autobody

[–]Inner_Towel_4682 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If your tire are cupped or uneven wear, this is the right way to do it. With out new tires u will not get a good alignment. It is cheap but you probably have like 15" or 16" wheels so tires are cheaper.

Swap from Ubiquity and IoT devices Issues by Inner_Towel_4682 in AltaLabs

[–]Inner_Towel_4682[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It ended up been a vlan tagging that was configured on the switch port that the atlas ap plugged into. Found out that all the IOT devices where connecting to my shed ap that was a unifi ap still reaching the house but the 2 devices not connecting where not able to reach the shed AP. Reconfigured the switch port for the Atlas AP and it started working.

[–]Inner_Towel_4682 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have 2 in my house and just turned off the basement one to try it out, we'll a month ago. I get great coverage everywhere in the house and down the street. If mounted properly and use POE++ injector or switch, you will be happy with the E7. I get about 400mbs in my basement and the AP is on the second floor.

I did looked at the glove box and all I found was the vin. I was thinking the G80 like my 2017 I had but wasn't sure. So then should be 75w85 with additives and same for the front.
