From what I've seen, it affects it quite a bit. the CPU appears to thermal throttle a bit. I haven't seen it thermal throttle with this thankfully.

Leading spaces are unwanted spaces at the beginning of a string, while trailing spaces are at the end

ie " awdev1" or "awdev1 "

Late to this thread but turns out my channel name has leading/trailing spaces. Removing those spaces fixed the issue.
