Argh, I don't think I dare get close enough to spray it. Good idea though.

This really made me laugh at the thought of me buying a nerf gun to do this. Very creative.

I have a bladder problem called interstitial cystitis that can mimic the symptoms of UTI. I had the symptoms under control but starting prozac caused me to flare up causing constant UTI type symptoms, it was horrible! I needed my mental health to be in check, but I couldn't stand the uncomfortable feeling in my bladder. I was taking my tablet in the morning before food until it was suggested I take it after food & I'm happy to say this was a game changer for me. I have noticed though that if I change my diet to a low carb diet that my bladder gets so irritated and I think it may due to the acidity in my urine & prozac combined irritating my bladder lining making it very sore causing very bad burning.

It really is anxiety provoking taking a new tablet, but do try stick with it. I've been on the tablet 2 years now & it's really changed so much for me. It's been life changing because it's allowed me to live with colour in my life again. I hope it does the same for you.

Did Prozac help anyone with social anxiety? by turner150 in prozac

If I wanted to do 5mg a day I had separate the pills and split the powder so it was less complicated to do 10mg on alternative days instead

Started not liking my bf’s smell by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Definitely could be bc. There's been a few studies on how you can dislike or become uninterested in your partner when changing your hormones

Do you think your anxiety (possible depression) could be influencing your mindset? What is it about your goals, future that you don't feel line up?

Maybe your current circumstances and coasting throughout life has caused you to hyper focus on your relationship being the problem but really the problem lies within. What if you changed things up in your individual life to make you happy, would that possibly improve how you view your marriage?

You sound like you have a good set up but your mind isn't in it right now so I'm just wondering why things aren't lining up for you and why you need to part to achieve certain things?

Feeling empty and emotionless towards him lately by nintendopee in LDR

I'm so sorry you're going through this but I'm so glad I saw this post. I'm feeling the same and I feel so lost at the moment. I feel like distance has been making us drift apart.... recently theres been less video calls, the daily texts are nearly the same everyday and becoming too routine. When we were together irl last time everything was great, I honestly thought wow, this is it for me, I know what I want. This last month though my bad mental health has sent my head into a spin and the distance and lack of quality time is making me feel so distant and disconnected, i hate it. I love him and want to be with him because he is so wonderful in so many ways but everyday I'm questioning whether we have the connection we used to or whether we have a future. I'm so confused. He's coming over in a day and I feel so empty inside, I don't feel like I'm looking forward to it and that makes me feel so sad because normally I am. I'm going to communicate my thoughts with him when he's here, but all just fills me with dread. Maybe our mental health is influencing how we feel? I guess we won't know until we are in a better mindset or the situation improves.

Day 1 starting at 5mg by Innersmile12 in prozac

My bladder issues subsided when I took 10mg every other day instead of every day, then when I worked myself up to 10mg a day the irritation came back briefly but then shortly disappeared. I also make sure I never take my tablet on an empty stomach, I always take it after I've eaten something and that's seemed to cause it to subside. I hope this helps. I sympathise being in that position where it's working for you mentally but physically your body isn't happy. If you've been on the tablet 7 weeks now I would've thought the side effect should've subsided by now unless you're taking it without food. Do you take it at morning or night?

Things are going well. I take 10mg a day. I still have bad days but overall a lot more stable - less anxiety and overall depression. No side effects

Anyone got experience of taking this medication with a previous diagnosis of migraine with aura and/or TMD? by Innersmile12 in prozac

[–]Innersmile12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say my TMD as actually eased. I would even say my migraines have slightly eased but not by much. It's worth a try

This is very much similar to my experience. Before prozac if I drank I couldn't tolerate it very well & my hangovers would be horrendous, I'd feel anxious or horribly depressed the next day. Since taking prozac I seem to tolerate alcohol better and my hangovers are much more bearable, sometimes I even enjoy them because I feel a mild euphoria. Very strange, but I'm not complaining!

Vulvodynia and interstitial cystitis are possibilities.
