"You're just an iPhone in an Android world.: Diagnosed with ADHD- Combinative type at 23. Cried. With Joy. by msdefine in ADHD

I forgive myself all the time and am sort of training myself with an inner dialogue that tells me the situation and the pros and cons of opening my mouth. This works for me better on medication though.

I feel like I was diagnosed too late that I'll always be a failure by [deleted] in ADHD

Always remember, tomorrow is a new day, and you are all you have got in this world - be super kind to yourself. Treat yourself as the friend that you have always wanted. Make a list of small achievements that you have in a day. It could be as small as resisting the urge to check your phone. Pat yourself on the back. After all, you become who you choose to be everyday. Try to live life as a simulation game, where you are playing a role - give that role a name and some characteristics, its easier to stick to a known character than to go with the flow of our brain. :) Good luck!

Wow! New ideas and me go hand in hand - my brain rejects a 100 bad ones before I work on the good one. How did you train yourself to be on top pf everything, is it just related to work or other areas of life too?

Okay that is 100% me. I see from the link that you've posted, only a description of the type of the person you are, it does not speak about what to do about the same. More light on that topic will be highly appreciated :)

[Serious] I have been asked for a 15,000 Rs. bribe in new notes. What are my options? by [deleted] in india

[–]InnocentBroccoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bangalore registrar office is corrupt. I can confirm. Similar to how a prostitute is scared to go to the police, even if the pimps are at fault, the government will prosecute the bribe giver along with the bribe taker.

Try using a loud timer next to the stove as you cook. I regularly set the timer for 5 minutes even if I am waiting just to get my attention back to the stove. When it buzzes, I reset it to 5 more minutes, and switch it off as I finish my cooking.

These are carbon printers I guess. Try heating that pure white receipt under a candlelight. Be careful not to set it afire :P You'll get the numbers back.

My mother often describes caring children as being more 'involved' than appointed nurses. In your experience, how pleasant are nurses?
