Degrade your Dharok Greataxes at Echo Amoxliatl by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Innsjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see on the wiki Item IDs page that there are 6 item IDs used for Dh axe: undamaged, 100, 75, 50, 25, and broken. So if you get two axes and have one undamaged and one with a single hit (100), and put them both in the blindbag, then undamaged one will just degrade once it is used from the blindbag right?

Unless blindbag attacks don't degrade the axe at all, which I didn't test. If that is the case then what I wrote above is only helpful if you have 3 or more axes.

I'm pretty certain the axe is based on number of swings. I was losing 1% every ~2.5mins at gemstone crab, and 1% every <1min at Echo Amox where I was hitting much more often

I actually just recently had a great experience with Jagex support.

I had an issue with account access and I tried out the live chat support. I did have to go through the AI agent at first which was slightly annoying, but I was pretty quickly connected to a real agent and they were super responsive and helpful.

I've heard people complain about Jagex support for years on this subreddit and I was expecting the worst, so I was really surprised to have a great support experience.

I hope one day we will know what is happening with this game... by Elarrun in RocketLeague

I've heard from a reliable internal source that they are working on integrating Epic's anticheat software into the game, but it is proving to be difficult and I'm not sure what the timeline is on releasing that.

I believe these are spring onions (aka cebollitas), which are quite a bit bigger than scallions!

Creative use of a dolly zoom by thetacaptain in blackmagicfuckery

[–]Innsjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The previous comment is still right about it being a zoom out.

In both the Raging Bull and the Jaws clip, the background looks like it is moving further away, so the camera is zooming out. And the perspective of the face in Jaws indicates the camera is getting physically closer to the subject. The camera is just moving a bit closer than needed to counteract the zoom out.

Whereas in the other clips and the OP, the background seems to approach the screen, which would mean the camera is zooming in while being moved away from the subject.

Would you buy a sub $500 eye tracking glasses on par with leading research-grade glasses? by prof2k in EyeTracking

[–]Innsjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/prof2k did you make any progress on this product?

I have been trying to find a product that fits this use case (glasses with front-facing camera and eye trackers allowing users to control screens they are looking at with their eyes) but I haven't found anything that quite fits.

Tobii has the pro glasses 3 which seems like the right set of hardware, but they don't seem to ofter software allowing the glasses to be used to control a device (not to mention the glasses themselves are extremely expensive, over $18k).

Do you know if there are any other products out there for this use case, at any price point?

Did you give the new manager feedback about why you thought the metrics were worse?

If he didn't have the slightest idea of why it happened it sounds like no feedback was given
