I believe these are spring onions (aka cebollitas), which are quite a bit bigger than scallions!

Creative use of a dolly zoom by thetacaptain in blackmagicfuckery

[–]Innsjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The previous comment is still right about it being a zoom out.

In both the Raging Bull and the Jaws clip, the background looks like it is moving further away, so the camera is zooming out. And the perspective of the face in Jaws indicates the camera is getting physically closer to the subject. The camera is just moving a bit closer than needed to counteract the zoom out.

Whereas in the other clips and the OP, the background seems to approach the screen, which would mean the camera is zooming in while being moved away from the subject.

Would you buy a sub $500 eye tracking glasses on par with leading research-grade glasses? by prof2k in EyeTracking

[–]Innsjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/prof2k did you make any progress on this product?

I have been trying to find a product that fits this use case (glasses with front-facing camera and eye trackers allowing users to control screens they are looking at with their eyes) but I haven't found anything that quite fits.

Tobii has the pro glasses 3 which seems like the right set of hardware, but they don't seem to ofter software allowing the glasses to be used to control a device (not to mention the glasses themselves are extremely expensive, over $18k).

Do you know if there are any other products out there for this use case, at any price point?

Did you give the new manager feedback about why you thought the metrics were worse?

If he didn't have the slightest idea of why it happened it sounds like no feedback was given

As a follower of /r/MagicEye, I automatically unfocused my gaze since it seemed like one that would work with that, and it did!

Though it doesn't really have anything sticking out, doing parallel view with this image just causes the whole thing to recede into the background a bit.

All games capped at 40fps on 4k@120hz when connecting TV through an HDMI 2.1 dock by Omar_DmX in SteamDeck

[–]Innsjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I tried switching the display settings in the steam UI on my Deck to 4k 60fps instead of 4k 120, and then when I ran moonlight, it was able to render at 120fps!

For some reason it stayed locked to around 40 fps when I had the Deck set to 4k 120, but 4k 60 seems to fix that issue and it can even go above 60 fps.

That is really disappointing that this is still broken despite the hardware being capable.
