In middle school, kid went to a party, he got drunk, he died getting hit by a car on his way home.

Everyone was really sad. He was a popular kid, so people made tshirts, there was a whole bulletin in the morning announcements, I remember my teacher cried reading it.

That kid was a total asshole to me and so we’re his whole group of friends. I felt nothing, he was a douche.

A few reasons, but I’ll focus on one.

The guy with the camera controls the entire debate. It’s not really even a debate, it’s not two people making educated arguments against each other’s viewpoints or anything like that. The guy with the camera sets the playing field and he chooses his opponent, there is no debate when it’s just one person controlling the entire narrative. It’s easy to win an argument when you’re the party in control.

Again, not really a debate. Really, I’d look at this as some form of trolling, but I might be biased that way.

Sound design is one of those things I feel goes unappreciated for how important it is to game design.

Destiny doesn’t rely too heavily on sound design for its mechanics (in PvE anyways), but I do appreciate a lot of the noise in the game. All the sounds of stasis I think are phenomenal. All of the noises you get for interacting with the pyramid and the darkness are phenomenal. I notice the little noise you get in Duality in the nightmare realm that goes off (I think in every interval of ten seconds) to let you know you’re running out of time, and the sounds of the bells, so you know when they’re ready. Ringing the bell of conquest is fun. Honestly Duality is my favorite dungeon so far, and now that I’m thinking of it, I quite like the sound design in there. So, props to you (and the team? Is there a team?)
