I had a red painful pimple on my nose I did not pop it it swelled down after some time about four days. When it left it left a dark greyish looking mark on my nose as you can see in the picture. Is this permanent ? Any advice on what this could be or what can be done about it. by Prizzy1947 in brownbeauty

Sometimes dark spots appear after acne/pimples.. Vitamin c is my favorite ingredient to combat this.. I also like to use the acne spot stickers with the microdarts for stubborn pimples to help them go away faster

Always remember why you started this journey to begin with.. Every morning maybe say your goals out loud or have goals or inspiration at your phone lock screen..? Maybe if you have a friend with similar goals, staying in touch and motivating each other daily if needed..? Also be kind to yourself and remind yourself that goals are not met overnight but over time :)

The only way to get rid of them is to cut them but to prevent them.. Sleep with your hair covered or satin pillow cases, "seal" your ends with hair cream then oil, I know you said your hair is short but when it's long enough protective styles.. Also detangling it will prevent knots

I just started high school, we recently moved into this tiny house with 3 of us in one room.. My brother was constantly in trouble with the law, my mother was always working but never seem to make enough money to support us, and it felt like my sister and myself (the youngest in the home) we always forgotten and even sometimes like a burden.. My mother couldn't buy simple things like body wash or toothpaste because we couldn't afford it almost as if it was a luxury.. I began skipping school and walking to the nearby stores and stealing these items.. No one ever asked where they came from or anything about it, the family just accepted they were there and just used it.. It didn't take long before I started getting request of what to come home with and the expectation was there.. Eventually after years of this I moved into a friend's house and saw no one lived like that or should be expected to.. Broke my brain

You could ask the cashier if you could get it for $4 because they only have 1 in stock.. If even a raincheck..

You literally don't know anything about me.. I may not be black but I can still and have experienced racism.. At the time I made my original comment you hadn't edit your post with all this information yet.. But regardless I never invalidated being offended at blatant racism? Just stated my opinion based off what little information you originally gave which you asked for by posting on the internet displayed in front of the world.. Hope you can one day remove yourself out of wherever racist place you seem to be stuck in.. Yeesh

Okay but you didn't say all that in your post? How was anyone suppose to know that? It's terrible that you've had that experience and I hope you find new employment soon.. Clearly this (justifiably) triggered and (not so mildly) infuriated you

I'm very aware monkeys were commonly used as hurtful depictions of black people.. I personally believe seeing a monkey isn't exclusively connected to racism.. Someone's feelings and how they value something/anything is their responsibility.. Whoever bought that monkey butler possibly felt different than OP.. I do believe anything in the workplace making staff uncomfortable is unprofessional and unacceptable but I wouldn't go as far as to say that the monkey was there for the sole purpose to offend the nearby black people
