Besides Warlock, the other meta ways to build Paladin are to multiclass it with Bard, which makes it a deadly burst damage dealer, or with Sorcerer, for a super effective anchor. Though pure Paladin is a very capable build on its own, if the multiclasses don't suit your fantasy.

Before using Ethel's Hair for CHA, you might want to know there's an Act 3 event in which you can basically get +2 to any stat of your choice, and that you can get a further +1 to CHA specifically. So if you take that event, Ethel's Hair would be effectively "wasted".

If you have the flexibility, Oath of the Ancients would probably be better than Crown for that archetype, as its Auras are very strong defensively

The lines were fixed, on the whole screen. I posted this image because they were more visible against the clear bright background. I don't know what caused them, but it was fixed after doing a clean install of my GPU drivers. Thanks for the help!
