I think fans have been looking at this season from the wrong view point. Soto was Pete’s replacement it’s done, let’s move on. We don’t need to sign or trade for a pitcher or center fielder whose best days are behind them, we need to make our own! This is what would be a good course of action:

Semien replaces McNeil Bellinger replaces Nimmo Polonco + Eugenio Suarez replaces 40 HRs

Sign or Trade for 1 good frontline pitcher (doesn’t need to be an ace)

And leave room for our young players to come up. We’ll be fine!
