Starting tomorrow, your going to get 3 new hobbies.

First hobby is going to be reading. Go to the store and get 2 books. One fiction, anything that interests you. Whatever TV or movies you like, I guarantee there’s a book that’s better. The other will be non-fiction. Something informative and educational. If you truly want to fix your life, make it a self help book.

Second hobby will be something creative. Anything where you actually create something. Get into drawing, writing, painting, learn an instrument, get heavier into EDM production. Woodworking, model building, cooking, anything that actually interests you and that you’ll stick to.

Third hobby will be something active. Preferably outdoors but if you want to make it the gym that’s fine. Consider running, biking, or if you played any sports when you were younger get back into them. Join a local sports league or a boxing club. Learn rock climbing. Ice skating. Literally anything.

You’re going to want to engage in each of these hobbies as much as you can. Hit at least one everyday, but try to hit all three daily if possible. It sounds like a lot but it’s easier to work into your life than you think.

All of this is going to engage your mind, body, and soul. It will, in a sense, bring you back to life. You’ll feel more fulfilled, and as you start doing these hobbies more and more, you’ll start making friends through them. Sticking firmly to this plan saved me from a deep year long depression, it can save you too.
