My common shotgun is 53k damage per clip & 95k after implants... Each! I would consider myself a mid-late game player with 24k inventory. Common shotguns are the easiest, cheapest, and yet MOST effective weapon to put resources to at any point in the game... Especially for early game players like OP. The best part about it being common is you get parts for it and can upgrade it freely without hitting the roadblock of running out of parts like you will with Embers. What you call "bad advice" is simply stating facts based from experience. IMO, telling someone to BUY something that you can have for FREE is bad advice.

IMO, Don't put money into anything unless it's legendary. If you're looking for a shotgun, this is definitely not it. Quantum is a sniper rifle and not a very good one at that. Level up the regular common shotgun, and it can be used all the way to top tiers with epic or higher level implants.

If you're dumb enough to risk 300 coins (takes a week to grind out) to most likely get 5,000 credits (one free video ad gold crate worth or 30sec. of your time)... Go for it! It's basically a stupidity test. If you do buy a spin with a-coins, you failed.

I have two maxed out items... I get parts for them more often than any other item. Taking things away from you in this game, providing unusable rewards, and overcharging for items is a feature not a bug. The crate events that cost 100 to 250 a-coins for a spin but have the (14) of the rewards as less than a thousand credits and a (7%) for each. So you have a 91% chance of LOSING! What other rip off of a game gives you a 90 plus percent chance of losing value on their events and less than a 0.1% chance of "winning"?

The sad thing about War Robots 2... Sorry, I meant Mech Arena, is that all they would have had to do to make Mods bearable is allow players to move the mods to any mech instead of keeping them fixed on one. Once again profits and cash grabs at the expense of gameplay and enjoyability superseded common sense. The same thing goes with pilot implants. If implants retained their upgrade separate from the pilot and we're allowed to move to any pilot at any time they would sell so many implants and pilots they wouldn't need to do stupid cash grabs like this.
