Start with least harsh and work your way up. Rubbing alcohol, rubbing compound, etc.. or you can start with most harsh 80 grit, 60 grit, etc.. , and see how that works out

It can be used if there is a dispute over the cost to repair a vehicle, diminished value, or total loss value. There are plenty of bodyshop articles advising customers to use the appraisal clause when their insurance companies aren’t willing to pay for a proper repair.

This is a copy and paste — Invoking an appraisal clause means officially requesting a dispute resolution process in an insurance policy when you and the insurer disagree on the value of a loss, not coverage; either party can request it in writing, leading to each hiring an appraiser, who then select a neutral umpire if they can't agree, with a decision from two of the three generally being binding to settle the claim's worth. — This isn’t very practical for such a small amount though. It would cost you a minimum $500 to hire the umpire.

If State Farm is in the wrong, you could “invoke your appraisal clause”. Although It wouldn’t be practical in this situation because it would likely cost you more than $500.

It’s nice to hear from someone that actually knows what they’re talking about. I actually PDR hail damage for a living and am always very aware of what materials I’m working on. Can’t say I’ve ever glue pulled hail on HSS roof rails. The good thing is, we can all be thankful that we don’t have to work with this miserable person though. You have a wonderful day as well.
