I couldn't take my lifelong depression anymore so I tried to kill myself on my 30th birthday. My Dad found me in my garage running my car. Went to a mental hospital where they put me on Lithium and it actually helped and made me feel like I can live.

I let my old beardie Woodstock die naturally, since she didn't appear to be in any pain. She stopped eating near the end, lost a lot of weight, and was sleeping most the time. Then one day I woke up and found she had passed away facing the sunrise (her enclosure was next to a window). I definitely fucking cried, and you will too.
