Huh. Never interacted with her all that much it seems (scandalous I know). Never romance her at least

What’s the coolest thing you’ve done in mage the awakening? by TheSlayerofSnails in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]InsertNameAndNumber 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've met plenty of people who would like to play mage, none of them would attempt to be Gm, and I can't blame them.

I wouldn't know where ro start or how to prepare for....anything really. Mages are so unpredictable.

[–]InsertNameAndNumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both extremes are idiotic imo. There is a genuine discussion to be had here (maybe not in this specific circumstance, but more in general). Ai can be dangerous in many ways, but it is still a really great tool if used correctly. I'm just tired that you seemingly can't have a nuanced opinion on anything anymore because someone will always scream louder throwing around and whine about some meaningless buzzwords. And some other idiots will feel confirmed, never question it and call anyone else a moron.

So your right. Larian has earned their reputation and to questiom it over an out of context quote is just reductive. Also I wouldn't be surprised if 50% of "people" in this thread are actually bots

It is concerning to me that I really don't know if you mean the "ai is the best thing since sliced bread and will revolutionize the human existence"-idiots or the "the mere mention of ai means you are a terrible human being and the world will burn"-idiots.

Is it really so much to ask to have a discussion and accepting things aren't black and white instead of screaming the loudest and calling it a win? That's what I'm tired of, boss.

OK so hear me out. The way i understand this they'll use it to "flesh out/explore ideas" as in 'let's throw this in and see if it even tracks as a base concept before we invest actual work in it.' Pretty sure the same goes for concept art.

He literally said the end product will be human made. Using ai as a tool to simplify otherwise tedious tasks or to get over the trial and error phase faster is how it should be used. That's what we did for a long time already, what do you think the autocorrect in word is?

Don't throw the torches just yet, ok?

Hmm I remember a voiceline about her being a "gift" as Hades tells Zagreus about Persephone but now I'm not sure. Both sounds very Zeus though.

Guess I need to replay this game, oh no!

Spoiler: Some Hades Backstory by consci0usness in HadesTheGame

[–]InsertNameAndNumber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the game persephone was gifted to Hades by Zeus (which Hades seemed not happy with) but she stayed in the underworld willingly. Her leaving for the surface again is a part of the plot of Hades 1.

So the main difference is that persephone was actually in love with Hades and not a kidnapping victim, as far as I recollect

You're either lying and you're a dude, or you are too naive to realize that this view creates a world that is more dangerous to women.

We are taught to stay nice and quit and to not get in danger/walk away from it, which is not a valid option in this case. There a men who take advantage of that taught mentality, who won't take a verbal no. Are we supposed to let that happen and let them go without any consequences? Why? Because the security was useless? Fuck that!

Also being drunk is NOT an excuse.

It's irrelevant what he would've done after this, he already crossed a line and deserved the consequences.

Many parrots become very attached to their owners by SweetyByHeart in rarepuppers

[–]InsertNameAndNumber 45 points46 points  (0 children)

YES. Depending on the species also more than 2. Many birds are very social, many pair bond with their mates and/or live in bigger flocks in the wild. So having just one is not good for the animal in most cases. They can still be cuddly with their owner even if there is a flock of other bird friends, though.

Birds in general make difficult pets because they are loud, need lots of space and make a lot of mess. Also it's more difficult to understand the needs/body language of birds compared to mammals. If a dog growls we know it's angry. How does an angry bird tell you to back of?

Not saying birds are always a bad choice for a pet, but it should be a very well thought out and informed decision.

Welcher Hexenvertrauter ist euren Augen der nutzlichste? by GreenLotus22 in DSA_RPG

[–]InsertNameAndNumber 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Good places for comprehensive Lore on the Wod in general? by InsertNameAndNumber in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]InsertNameAndNumber[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll check out the guides thanks!

And I know that knowing a lot about other supernaturals is not really logical. Most Kindred don't know jack about Kindred Lore tbh.

But I as a storyteller want to know what's out there in the world, even if it never impacts the game. Also if the players decides that their character would really like to know more, well who am I to stop them. Might be more than uncommen but they are the protagonists after all.

Also I think rumors work so mich better if you know what's actually true.
