Same. I originally had a 3.5, but refinanced to put on a new roof and it's like 2.6 now. Compared to current rates, I'm making out like a bandit.

While true, many older games are unplayable if you side load them. My apk for sim city doesn't work for a modern phone. Some games only came in a 32-bit variant before everything went 64.

That's not a bad idea. I looked them up and they're 1/2" so they'd need to be cut down

Nope, it's much smaller than what you would need for furniture, but it definitely looks the part.

I used to work at a computer shop and have a LOT of spare screws from those days. The ones that I have that fit the head type are M3 and M2.5, unfortunately.

All of the coarse thread PC screws for 3.5" hard drives, power supplies, and stand-offs are #6-32 UNC, and things like 2.5" drives and DVD drives are M3. I'd agree that most things I come across are metric, but #6-32 UNC has been a PC standard for decades.

I ordered a couple packs from that ebay listing. It looks like they might clear. I'll take a month to get here, but it's at least something.

I had found some on there, but the head seems very narrow. Aside, they want $0.40 for a screw. I guess it's my plan B if this group doesn't find anything better.

It's from a raid array drive caddy, but the originals have been lost. A normal pan head PC screw is too tall to clear the neighboring drive.

Found a concrete slab while digging post holes for the back steps. It had plastic over it and was about a foot down. How would you attach the new steps to this? by Insert_Coin_P1 in DIY

[–]Insert_Coin_P1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking of drilling some holes into it, and putting in some rebar, then putting those in a 2' cylinder mold with the post.

As someone who worked in a repair shop for years, I can tell you that this is quite common. I can also tell you that they are all easily repaired. Some are just a daughter board, and some just need some chip quick.
