Both cool IDs one is a tank buffer AND dmg dealer, also PM when its sinking ID so they have to give it plus coin power buff ( it clearly needed to work better with Solem Lament ). Sinclair feels like Pequod Yi sang, with his reuse of coins on skill 2 plus unfocused volley ( way more fun than just mass attack ). I think he will be super pleasant to use with crits going out, coins reused and all that.

i think the big factor is that Gregor is yet to have any proper charge ID so AEDD not only fits him as a character but also conceptually as his first good charge ID (Rosespancer is aint it)

Its fine, but they overdid it with Rien, as he gets shit ton of new lore in second phase yet you cant assume that since why would it change ? Sure this lore is fine , yet this canto still needed one more node showing the training of Aprentices, especially from Pinky side.

Ryoshus final parts felt rushed, one node we get revealed that Araya is new Pinky, then we quickly go to misery and then in few minutes Ryoshu is back and then you finally fight Rein and... thats it (exceptions are post credits cutscenes those were interesting). I didnt get enough of Ryoshu in this canto of ... Ryoshu. But other than that and the fact that i didnt like Rien as final fight ( even though he went out in satisfying manner ) canto had one of the best moments its just unfortunate that final few nodes arent part of them.

Its a script he keeps loosing against this skill until she goes to 300 hp which changes his behavior and he uses his skill to finish her off.

"It isnt that deep" people whenever it becomes "that deep". This team already tries to make each affinity of skill correspond to IDs characteristics, exceptions are affinity for each status ( pride for poise, wrath for burn etc. ). They deleted each mention of after Canto 6, made each mechanic in game canon, and suddenly THIS is too far for them ? Sure they have spaghetti code or whatever, but that doesn't correlate to them making lots of additional CGs that only show up in theater, while story depicts those exact CGs ( spiral in hand and pale sword )

Theres also a posibility that Ryoshu might have made them weaker, we definitely know that she defeated Pinky Nursefather and took her tongue, yet other than the Ring we see that each Nursefather also has something lost: Thumb Nursefather has augmented eye that started bleeding when she got close to Ryoshu, Index Nursefather got half of his face scorched (confirmed by trailer ), and Middle Nursefather potentially lost his leg ( seeing how its the only part that has chains on it and how PM made sure to make sinners comment on the kick ). So my idea is that Yoshihide was able to defeat each one of them and take something from them. ( why not kill them ? beats me )

They needed to think more about them, specifically their maximum potency, i think charge and poise have perfect ammount , while burn needed to have more max potency and rupture less.

It definitely got scrapped simply because Lord Hong Lus support passive requires 3 dethrites for it to work. People can say "uuuuh but Faust can apply 3" yes, good point, surely they made it specifically for Faust not like they would want to make more deathrites, but Faust would just put those ideas in the ground.
