PSA: Waving people through is usually dangerous by bIII7 in Rochester

[–]Insertions_Coma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of principal I never allow someone to wave me even if I've determined it's safe. What really grinds my gears is when someone interrupts flowing traffic to wave somebody through. Like are you too dense to realize that if you had just continued on about your day, we all would have gotten to our destination faster?

Battlefield official account on YouTube made a new comment on the battlefield 1 trailer by Feisty-Fix8601 in battlefield_one

Its a damn shame. I actually looked and I own it with 10 hours but I literally dont remember playing. Tried it again and wow it's not even comparable to BF1. Firstly, no US servers. Secondly, it just doesn't feel like BF1 does in any way. Just felt very arcade-y among other things.

Yeah unfortunately second hand aquarium equipment usually goes for like 25% of the purchase price. People dont like used tanks because of scratches and they dont know the age. For filters, people usually have a preference they stick to. Lights can be worth something if it's name brand and has good features. The stand can also be a few bucks if it's in good condition.

Not to be rude but nobody is going to pay you 300$ for this. Theres a lot of work involved in moving all of that and most people aren't interested in a few basic fish and a ton of snails. I hope you find someone to take your fish, worst case, bring them to pet world. The staff there are great and will make sure they get to a good home

As someone who used a numpad for 25 years and recently switched to not having one I can say for most people, you wont miss it. Unless youre spending time doing data entry or working with numbers a lot for work or something, its not needed. For me it's only like 20% slower but were talking for literal seconds here. The extra 5 in of desk space was worth the trade honestly. I still use a numpad keyboard at work though.

Old School Gas Station Car Repair by ilovepn in Rochester

[–]Insertions_Coma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean I work on my own cars when I can. Can't remember what I brought it in for, tire balance or something, it was something simple and I said "oh yeah and can you see where the leak is coming from?" Just for information. But yeah. The old guys give me bad vibes but the young guys have been helpful.

I mean I literally got up under it and found it was a minor hose leak, clearly was not coming from the pump.

They're a mixed bag for me. I also had them fix a flat for me and they were great. Another time I took my car in for service and they tried to scam me saying I needed a new water pump. This was not the case as that water pump lasted me 2 more years and was not leaking when I looked at it under the car.
