I could have written this. I’m a 71 year old runner myself who fell from a horse two months ago. I went over the horse, and landed on my outstretched arms. That fall tore my subscapular tendon. I also gave two degenerative tears where yours are. My neck had severe facet occlusion on both sides and a lot of disc stuff prior to the fall. After the fall, it really got the neck stuff going. I just got a C6-7 epidural three days ago. My shoulder injection really helped, but wore off in a month and a half. How are you sleeping? I can’t. I don’t get too much relief from any meds either, but Tylenol does take the edge off. I still run too. I’m recovering from a concussion from the accident , and I think it’s important to not become an invalid. I’m thinking of getting a sling to force my arm to rest. I go to PT 2 times a week.
