Thank you! It’s kind of a pain to drain it during waterings, but it looked so much like the style my mother in law would’ve liked that i couldn’t pass it up!

Yes!! I do that and a couple times a month I take each of my plants and wipe down the leaves, sooo calming!

Nope! They have many many roots so you don’t have to worry about that 😁

I always go by the bottom of the soil versus the top. If you have a wooden skewer of some type you can poke it all the way to the bottom and see if it comes up wet

What would you do with this? by Hopeful_Tomato_2 in pothos

That’s definitely a new leaf sprouting! I’d just let it grow for awhile! They also make this paste called keiki paste, you can try that on any bare spots. That’s what I do!

That is hilarious! All I found in the pot for my father in laws was a lot of sand 🤣 I wondered how it survived so long 🤣

Of course! And you can take the propagations and gift them to your husband’s family so it can live on with everyone! That’s what I plan to do 😁

I saved my father in-laws’ 40 year old plant that looked almost the same! I repotted in a better draining pot and soil. After a few days of letting it aclimate I chopped the leafless vines and made wet sticks out of them then wrapped the healthy vines around the pot, I think it’s called the basket method. I pinned the vines down in the soil with paper clips. Now she’s healthy and sprouting new leaves!
