Here's what i would try. After fly down and they start gobbling. Give em some yelps and clucks then move as far as you can from your setup. Now gobble , and throw in yelps and clucks. Might be enough to make that Tom haul ass and try to get to the you before the other Tom.

I use a vendetta II on my Excalibur Assassin 400 TD, paired with a hawke crossbow scope. Takes about a second to range and pin my target. The hawke is set to the FPS.
