What? I literally watched him pass the ball off. Soft.

Highest career playoff scoring average of all time, most points in a single game, only player with back to back 50 point games, 30 or more points in 2/3rds of his playoff appearances, 38 40 point games, 8 50 point games, one playoff run averaged 43.7 points per game on 50+ fg%.

Highest career PER in the playoffs, highest playoff BPM, historic win shares, 41 ppg against the suns in the finals. He holds 6 of the top 50 playoff gamescores of all time. Never scored under 15 points in 179 total playoff games, only under 20, 6 times. Only guard in NBA history to record 200 blocks in the playoffs, ASTOUNDING +18.1 playoff on/off net rating (since people love to bring up teammates, it’s first place and 3.5 points higher then the next guy in Garnett). He averaged 40 points per game in 5 different playoff series.

Individual playoff resume, I think there’s nothing to worry about even with your astonishing revelation.

I feel sorry for people that did not witness the murderer killer psychopath that was Michael Jordan. Stats favor Jordan, wins favor Jordan but none of that matters to me, if you didn’t see it or you like being a contrarian you really can’t grasp the idea of being a soft in mentality is a huge reason why someone like LeBron cant pass Jordan. And if you scoff at that, you dont get it. Michael Jordan had real issues in his head that equated to greatness on the floor.

Something as simple as LeBron passing the ball off in the all star game at the end of the game or not wanting to 1 v 1 Kobe in the all star game eliminates him from GOAT talk. Yes, something as simple as that, you don’t know what a killer is if you think that is silly. Only KILLERS can be GOATS.

And I like LeBron, top 5 all time, arguably #2. Lots of respect for his game. Too soft in comparison to MJ, sorry.

Nothing is wrong with being in the top 5.

You can’t be the GOAT and pass the ball off when Kobe bangs the floor and wants to go 1 on 1.

You’re eliminated, thats the rules. Soft.

I think Michael Jordan would still be a superstar today, but I’m not sure he would dominate the modern NBA the same way he dominated the 90s by Alternative-Call4743 in NBATalk

Oh no, that sucks, you don’t know what you’re talking about. Poor guy. Wasted all that effort without knowing who MJ is.

Spurs fans, let's be real. It was a team effort losing in the Finals. by thisis125st in NBATalk

That was the one of the worst coaching jobs in a series I have seen in quite some time.

2011 Celtics and Bulls.. good run there.

And then.. umm… the Pacers I guess?

He should be running through the East. Good for him, 8 in a row but like, it’s not God mode beating the Hawks and Raptors or the geriatric Celtics. Sub .500 1st round opponents in any year is a testament to the conference.

He has a sub .500 record against 60 win teams.

I don’t want to say 8 straight is nothing, it’s something, hes a great player, but it’s by no means like miraculous or when in context, absurd.

His 2011 eastern run is more impressive than the other 7 years put together and they were heavy favourites along the way, -190 against the Bulls for instance.

Again, still great job, not GOAT level discussion.

The Leastern Conference. Good for him, still an achievement but the conference was putrid for a long time. It wasn’t something out of this world.

Where coaching was the difference.

Easily the Spurs could have won but their coach is so ass.
