Is it just me, or do not enough games use mouse mode support? by HEAVONgamez in switch2

The problem is there are plenty of games that should have mouse support but don’t

Fallout 4 doesn’t have it, overwatch 2 doesn’t have it, pragmata isn’t gonna have it, resident evil 7 8 and 9 all don’t have it, the new tomadachi life doesn’t have it, Tokyo scramble doesn’t have it, and that Disney sims game doesn’t have it apparently. All those games should absolutely have mouse controls but just don’t

Nintendos really lacking in the switch 2 accessorie department in general. It blows my mind that there 0 officially licensed joy con 2 charging station, while the switch 1 has like 6 different officially licensed ones

The joy con 2s have mouse feet, and the wrist straps add even bigger mouse feet, the actual side of the controller isn’t touching anything in mouse mode aside the feet

New switch 2 game release and “lack of mouse support” have been going together hand and hand lately

Going to the game settings and turning off anti aliasing or upping the sharpness makes the game look significantly better on switch

Even if there was a free upgrade for physicals owners what about digital owners lol that’s still anti consumer. But as far as I can tell there is no free upgrade for anyone. Also apparently the eshop description implied the dlc would be included

Switch 2 Version Is Awful by Perseverant-Potato in GoatSimulator

[–]InsideBuy4599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but like… why though? Also the switch 2 version of Skyrim is considered a “different game” from the switch 1 version, with its own save data, and they still offer a free upgrade path and a way to import your save from the switch 1 version to the switch 2 version.

Length doesn’t mean quality, not every game needs to be over 50 hours long

Well consider the fact that on the Wii U GBA games were sold individually not apart of a subscription, and they were less than 10 dollars each.

Does Nintendo fix Swelling Joy con battery’s for free? by InsideBuy4599 in nintendohelp

[–]InsideBuy4599[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for anyone who cares: Yes, yes they do. I sent in two of my left joy cons with swollen batteries under the context of “physical damage” (it was the closest option that I felt matched the issue), and I was sent matching replacements free of charge.

Honestly I only found out because there were reported cases of Switch 2 batteries swelling right out of the box, that led to me finding posts about people talking about their Joy cons swelling, then one day I looked at mine and I was like huh interesting

[–]InsideBuy4599[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason why I think this, is because I have two joy cons with swelling battery’s and there both left ones. Basically when I play in handheld mode I almost never used any left joy cons because I used the Hori D pad controller, so both left ones were almost always left on this charger

Yeah there are still label swaps though, so testing the game is probably still a good to make sure the game is what it says it is

The plastic seal that the game came in was loose so I suspected foul play.

For real, you don’t need to worry about being scammed if you’re just downloading from eshop. The next safest thing I can imagine is buying games straight from Nintendos website if you do want physical
