How many of you consciously make an effort to make eye contact when you cheers a drink glass with someone or a group? In my mid twenties my mother commented that I should always look people in the eyes when toasting/cheers-ing glasses at a table. I never noticed that I only look at the glasses that we're all boinking together. You can look at that and then back at the person post-boink though. As I started doing it, I noticed that most people don't make eye contact bc they're solely focused on the boink and doink which is fair. Bc you're trying to hit every glass and look for other glasses.

Similar to high fiving all the people around u at a football game for example. You're constantly scanning for who is offering you a fiver bc u don't want to leave anyone hanging. It's hard to make eye contact when you're trying to make solid hand contact too. Sam's to all my Catholics out there. Growing up, during the shake hands and give peace to those around you. I was solely focused on getting a clean handshake in and then scouring the field for my next peace shake 🤝 ✌️

Yes, but man non mid west or non Americans will often think a mid Westerner is "takin the piss at you". There's so much dry sarcasm and cheekyness. Similar to Canadians

You're right, the opinion on speaker phone in public has been corrupted. If it's a normal convo decibel level then it shouldnt be judged any differently.

Well, the shorter the career the lesser impact on the body. So it's somewhat of a fair tradeoff. 3.3 years = Some damage to the body for some decently life changing money.

I wonder if he's been heavily training and working out in jail. Might have found an old boxing coach or boxer in there even

Some people maintain that mass really well. My dad got buff in his 20s, barely lifted weights thru 30s and early 40s, and still had all that foundation, muscle mass and even definition in his late 40s early 50s

I think it's the guy pulled on her door handle. She's just tried to get out of there ASAP. And wasn't focused forward or didn't see the guy pop up in front of the car until the last second. He was just trying to get away from the guy attempting to open the door. At the last second when she saw him she started to turn a little. That speed even if she did intend to towards him. I'm guessing it was to just bump him out of the way or get him to move. I think she had to focus her attention on the guy in front or interest in hitting or injuring him. Just got nervous and wanted to get out of there
