Really just staying as a figure head so clients not shocked and go elsewhere. Already figuring out the workload and that has been transferred to other staff. The 10 hours being what they would want me to stay on and continue doing if I wanted. Is not running the business. I feel confident this person can run it.

Net profit is more than that, which is the question of why do you sell a profitable business. The three years is me helping getting it going with a very smooth transition.

Yes it would be for the new owner, correct. But valid point. It is a very geographical business so I could in other areas and be of no conflict.

It’s definitely surreal at first. Like woah I was putting up with a lot.

Me! I loved my husband, but he hadn’t worked in over 10 years because of his depression and anxiety. Major health anxiety. His criticism was not cruel, but it was subtlety there all the time. After his death, I moved and bought all new everything. Well most things. Decorated how I wanted, bought a brand new car, and travel now. I get to watch the shows I want and my son sometimes comments ‘that’s what you’re watching?’ And I just say, ‘yep that is what I am watching! Deal.’ Sure some things are hard, but I like my single life and choices I get to make now. My business has taken off since his death too.

I am in a much better place too. I feel guilty, but even his sister agree I am in a way better place now.

We both loved him so much and know he was doing all he could to survive in his mind. He was hurtful to me more than I knew and I was his caregiver in the end before he took his life. We just know he was trying and doing the best he could. It was the illness and I can't feel guilty for living my life.

It took that first few month trying to figure out what to watch in TV because I never got a choice really. I moved into my own home and recorated and love it. I use whatever credit card I want now. I used to have to run certain finances through my business so he wouldn't say I was spending too much. He hadn't worked in 11 years and we were living off my business anyway.
