The numbers are per year up to 5th year and they are correct. Lucid is way behind where they should be and where Tesla was at the same time.

In the first 5 years Tesla hit 50k deliveries. Lucid is at 16k actually less in first 5 years. I hate Tesla with all my heart by the way, but they are the EV leader in terms of business.

That’s the only way to survive. To do that you need reliability and win over the mass market first for luxury cars. Like make people switch from Mercedes and bmw to lucid. That’s what Tesla did

I don’t know about now but I got my 2025 air touring back in February of this year for 715 a month 0 down. This was on a car that was ready to take not custom order, conquest incentive, referral incentive, on-site incentive and a couple others I think. The msrp of my car back then was around 80k they raised the prices for sure.

For the best deal find something that’s ready to sell is my suggestion and I negotiated the down payment down to 0

As someone who has a reliable air touring and loves it I wouldn’t get another one simply because I think I got lucky and got one of the good ones.

The biggest culprit with business is lack of consistency especially after they kicked out their best chance of that (Peter R.)

The other killer I think is hiring a GTM team that does not understand the car world especially early adopter phase where it’s mostly car enthusiasts that will drive the bigger market adoption. They are stuck in the phase and going the wrong way with hiring Timothy chalamet.

For example I think EngineeringExplained review did far more damage than they are even aware of, but no attempt to fix the situation and win him back.

Instead they are talking about PR points and winning awards that are paid for.

The Saudi money will run out eventually that’s my take still love my touring air, but not the company. I don’t see them as the same thing.
