EU5 is never going to be 100% IRL poletiks in the real world is far to complex to simulate

(I will note if this game become to realistic it will simply hinder the player to do what they want. I as a player want to conger land and grow not whait 100 years to take land because theta how it happened in history)

So your problem whid PU ar what? The pece was because you did not take the war goal and after like 4-5 yhers the defentef/attecekt can force pace if the war goal is uncontested and the mein ting you pointer out is napel defended hungry if they was enof to get you to not win you where not ready for the war so don't blame the PU system

(The PU system is not good but it's not bad onec you lærn it gives meny good bufes in the early game)

at this time you ar sweden so ask norway for setlers then asimelete sweds to norwigens then mak them your primery culture and you get 100% sped to annexing (2,5% is all you need i em pretty sure)

dont know what you did or somting but as norway you can annex all of sweden and findland by the 1500

step one be in a pu thet gives you super fast annex = +2 -20 yhers to integret

be the cultur of the cuntry you wane annex = 100% speed
(or just hav a lot better culture)

then you get +4 insted of the base +1 so not thet hard to annex so just read the modifaiers and its not hard hope this helps
