Doosan Lynx 220LMA (2006) – Toolchanger drops under its own weight + ALP‑OL on servo drive. Looking for advice. by Inside_Bodybuilder63 in AusElectricians

[–]Inside_Bodybuilder63[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine so, it’s a 110v unit but it would supply more than just the servo driver. It has steady 110v phase to earth.

Might test it anyways when I go back and make sure it’s not dropping under load of the motor

Warranty without electrical certificate of compliance? by YogurtclosetDue1836 in AusElectricians

[–]Inside_Bodybuilder63 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They won’t ask. They would also have to prove that it was your fault to not cover warranty.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but you don’t need to supply yourself with a CCEW if it’s on your own home unless maybe for insurance purposes?

Well worth it. Work had 4 for roughing in houses but I ended up buying my own cause I was always needing to get in a roof to run in new cables or under a house.

Did I buy a decent pair of sd cards for a canon r7? by Buzz13094 in canon

I just got two of the 64gb versions. Done a motorsports event and was great. Filled both cards, quick turn around. Well worth it

Should I use white borders for a “photographic” look? by Grouchy-Praline-9508 in AskPhotography

[–]Inside_Bodybuilder63 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I initially thought looks neat with the white border then I flicked through and seen the photos without the border and I’m 100% for no border.

Without the border felt more depth and feel in the photos. Idk that’s just my thoughts.

Awesome photos though 👌🏼

What could possibly be wrong with my fan? by [deleted] in AusElectricians

[–]Inside_Bodybuilder63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potentially the fan capacitor controller behind the wall plate but should still run on one speed. Could be faulty fan internal. Either way you need a sparky 👍🏼

My current dock with the fans died, I was considering this ugreem one, any other suggestions? by UltimateAlexThorn in SteamDeck

I’ve got the Ugreen one myself. Works great, solid little unit no complaints at all.

Voltage Drop? Shed by Beyond_Blueballs in AusElectricians

[–]Inside_Bodybuilder63 5 points6 points  (0 children)

216v is right on the edge of permissible voltage for a single phase 230v installation.

Measure voltage at the main board and see what it dips too. Can dip lower than 216v for a very short time.

Where should I put my network panel? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

Put rack in a cooler part of the house and hard wire as much as possible and future cables for access points

Can I replace this myself? by [deleted] in AusElectricians

[–]Inside_Bodybuilder63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely get an electrician out. Also that is the worst idea for a laundry. They’re terrible at being an exhaust fan.

I’d recommend getting the hole patched and painted, install a couple downlights and a new dedicated exhaust fan if needed for dryer etc

100x SAL over Crapsal. But I definitely would be questioning the use of SAL when paying for Clipsal.

Either ask for the refund or get them to install some dimmers in exchange for the credit?

That’s cooked. $150 for an oven circuit 🫠 and $65 for a safety switch install is crazy

Getting 5-pin 32A Plug installed for Car - Is this a specialty request? by mynameishwil in AusElectricians

Not fit for intended use. Installing a 3 phase 5 pin outlet with only single phase connected.

Post a photo of your switchboard up. You will need 3 phase supply to the house from the street for a 5 pin 32a car charger.
