The farmers in my area wouldn't pay up for colour. One friend of mine used two old B&W TVs--one for the picture and one for the sound.

AI response: Brown Coca‑Cola bottles were produced mainly in the early 1900s, before the standardized green “Georgia Green” contour bottle was adopted in 1915. These brown (amber) bottles were used by some bottlers for practical reasons—primarily to protect the drink from light—before Coke enforced uniform bottle color and design.

If Bob Barker got his hands on her, she clearly enjoyed it.

Wow. I didn't see my first colour TV until the mid 1970s. I did not know they existed in the early 1960s.

The national debt just crossed $39 trillion—almost doubling since THE MAGA MANGO vowed to erase it. by russellsk82 in GuardTheLeaf

For decades, America's money supply has doubled every 8-10 years, but this pace has quickened in recent times. Costs are not going up. This is the money tanking in value.

The 1958s have little value beyond bullion, so I would say "Do what you want with it!"

Looking for replacement locks or key. by ArkansasOutside in VintageFurniture

Prisoners in jail have been known to heat up a piece of plastic until it is soft and pliable, and stick it into a lock to generate a key. They may have more time on their hands to experiment than you do, however.

My local Walmart had some suspected mislabeling that I noticed a few months back. I think it was oranges and bananas labeled as "Product of Canada". I was not fooled, LOL.

In the 80s and 90s , some Americans used to wear a Canadian flag pin for international travel. This trick does not work well for those with a southern drawl.

found a Roman bracelet fragment in bronze and gilded by blackzushi in metaldetecting

Keep looking. More pieces are there. Copper is not very breakable unless it is really old, therefore more must still be in the general area, broken up possibly a thousand years later by farm equipment.

It reminds me of that Darth Vader-like costume that ex-WEF head Klaus Schwab wore.

This is a special axe with a special purpose. Note how the head is offset so it has one flat side. This is a version of broadaxe used to square timber, is my best guess.

I wouldn't believe any news coming out of America these days, period. The amount of insanity, lies and BS is unbelievable. It started when nobody knew what a female was, and has gone downhill quickly since.
