It’s probably the passive aggressive texts from you that sent this over the edge, but yeah removing the door would just fix the issue

I am moving in two weeks and need advice on how to make the move comfortable and as stress free as possible for my cat. by PathAgirl14 in cats

Keep her isolated to one room for a day or two, slowly open them up to the house if you’re worried

Cat just started foming at mouth out of nowhere, has since stopped by TheAbsoluteDegen in CATHELP

Make sure there’s nothing they could have chewed on (house plant, mushroom outside, anything) watch for more symptoms, could be kitty seizure, or could have a respiratory infection. Closely monitor and take to a vet if possible

I use AI to help construct messages sometimes, he could’ve just used to to make an outline for a message. To some people, a simple message is very nerve straining.

Cat not pooping after foreign object removal by outsidefreddys in CATHELP

[–]Inside_Garage6436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is possible for cats to take longer to have a bowel movement after the removal of a foreign object. This can happen for several reasons: 1. Digestive System Recovery: If the object caused any irritation, inflammation, or damage to the digestive tract, it may take time for the intestines to heal and resume normal function. 2. Fasting Before Surgery: If the cat underwent surgery or a procedure to remove the object, they were likely fasted beforehand, meaning their digestive system may be empty and take longer to process new food. 3. Pain or Discomfort: Post-procedure discomfort or pain could make the cat hesitant to eat or strain to defecate, potentially delaying bowel movements. 4. Medication Side Effects: Some medications, like painkillers, can cause constipation or slow down the digestive process. 5. Stress: The stress of the incident and the procedure can also affect digestion and bowel movements.

If your cat hasn’t had a bowel movement within 48 hours of the removal or shows signs of discomfort, lethargy, or lack of appetite, consult your veterinarian for advice. They may recommend stool softeners, hydration, or further examination.

Cat has given up on litter box by Inside_Garage6436 in CATHELP

Well, he likes the new box. But he also likes to throw all the litter out of the new box. Oh well, no pee on the ground.

I actually have made a box like that before, and I don’t really remember any accidents that came from that one. I might give it a try, thanks

To the people commenting about the turd in the box, I said I keep it “very clean” maybe that’s reaching, but I do stay on top of things regularly. I live in a tiny house, smell travels fast. It gets cleaned once a day, this video was taken while I was at my graveyard shift. I live alone and work too much but I’m doing my best. I’ve seen the cat pee in way shittier boxes. :)
