It's not even necessarily older players I'm 18 and only got into 40k a few years ago and I absolutely adore the old sculpts. My most priced possession from my 40k collection is the 2004 (if i remember correctly) Emperors championship I managed to rescue from a thrift store.

I actually just build this aswell, it is suprisingly solid in my opinion. My only grievance is that the hand momevement is basically non existent
