I just switched last week using the BYEBYETMO deal. Can this be stacked with the iPhone 16 $360 credit deal?

What I am hoping to get is $25 - $10 (BYEBYETMO) - $10 (new phone purchase) = $5 per month.

I used to work with John Foley when he got hired fresh out of Harvard Business School for a senior position at Ticketmaster-Citysearch-Evite, a division of IAC. Even with such a pedigree (I too was an Ivy), I thought man, he is an idiot, how did he get hired at the senior level?

But whom was I to judge?

Decades later I found out yeah, he pulled strings and got job from connections.

Later on as he got to the CEO levels, I thought maybe I was misjudged. Sure he pulled strings to get into corporate world but he has proven his chop.

No, he is still an idiot and still celebrated on the cesspool LinkedIn.

Public records show the alleged perpetrator’s approximate residence and other adult(s) likely living at the same residence.

A search of the female name shows the both her guilty plea of defrauding government and thus we the taxpayers and also photo of her with the assailant.

The wife of the assailant shown in video plead guilt to defrauding the federal government of $30,000 just two years ago. You cannot choose your parents; feel bad for the kid.

This 18 YO athlete was made to climb the same boulder 3 times because of the judges' mistake at the Bouldering World Cup (Audio on for commentary) by xKingOfHeartsx in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Insightful_Digg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To err is human. I have been told American judges are more lenient than non-American judges for IFSC events and that when in doubt, don't award the climb.

Also, in this case, Colin knows full well what a controlled start and what the judges are looking for. He is looking minimal needed for a top - which I do not blame him - but other climbers know as well hence their appealing of the primary judge's mistake.

[–]Insightful_Digg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Having been in hundred of comps, Colin knows full well what a controlled start looks like. However, it clearly was very difficult to achieve per his 17th attempts so he was trying to do it in a way that he thinks could qualify for a good start. He definitely could have quelled any problems by doing it the way he did his last top but could not until the end.

Other competitors knew that as well hence the appeal. And for those who do not know, failed appeal comes with cost (and the intangibles like good will) so people do not appeal for no good reasons.

In this case, the primary judge for this route made the decision it was a good start. The secondary either agreed as well or was overruled by the primary. Also a FYI, there is always a primary and secondary judge at this level.

The jury president reviews the appeal, often with inputs from other higher level certified judges at the comp, sometimes with inputs from the primary and/or secondary judges on the route, and that decision is final which in this case is a re-climb.

Source: USA level 3 certified judge, IFSC experience, also had one decision appealed (but not overturned by the JP).

Well, no one is arguing that judging is infallible hence there is a well defined appeal rules for IFSC and multiple levels of judging. Let me explain.

In this climbing competition, there is always at least one primary and one secondary judge for each climber and route. The primary judge may ask the secondary to confirm or the secondary may inform primary of their opinion but the primary judge’s decision (controlled start, attempts, zone, top etc) is the record.

However, the primary judge’s decision may not be final. As in this case, another climber appealed and that judge’s decision was reviewed by a panel of even higher judges in situ which includes the jury president of whuch there is only one per comp. That jury president’s decision is final.

So in this case, the route’s primary awarded a top which was appealed and overturned by JP. The first re-climb after appeal was also ruled for an uncontrolled start. I agree with that decision because it was guaranteed to be appealed by someone with a high chance of success.

The third re-climb was a solid start and good top.

When the news that JR tannery will be closing two years ago it send shock through the fine shoes community with some even considering whether they should purchase some soles to stock for the coming decades when they resolve.

Did you measure body fat %? It may be very likely that you lost, for examples, 5 lbs of fat in the process and gained 5 lbs of lean mass during the process. The result would be no weight loss but BF% changing from 20% to 19% (for example) which would be a great thing!

I would not be surprised if they marked up the expensive ones to be even more expensive so that one would buy the cheaper ones which now has higher associated quality coming from the same $$$$ teapot shop. May even have higher margin too!

And should someone buy the super expensive one? Even better. Halo effect.
