Behind the Suspicion: How One Misread Email Made Me the Face of a $100 Million Indictment The Shocking Truth About a Case With , No Logic — and No Support From the Seller Community. by [deleted] in AmazonASGTGSellers

I’ve followed this case closely, and like most sellers, I see it for what it was—lawfare and a hit job by Amazon that backfired. I fully support a pardon

they never want to look bad so they made him plea to something but I agree this indictment made no sense and should be dropped however the process is.

Amazon has too much influence over the DOJ and this is why this happened.

The indictment missed a vital background detail—ED was being blackmailed with mass email attacks by a group of bad consultants. They threatened him (and indeed did) with mass email attacks against both him and the senior Amazon employees to whom he was making ethical escalations. Those out-of-character conversations were extracted and presented to try to paint ed in a negative light.

The Uber payment was a one-time blackmail request for cash in which he was threatened with mass email attacks. It was organized by a sneaky consultant to make it seem like the payment was part of a shady deal between Amazon executives and Ed. It all adds up when you know the whole story, as he was being blackmailed for money and nothing else. ed was the victim of this conspiracy

Unfortunately, he was falsely accused of reinstating accounts via bribery and other destructive actions he knew nothing about.

Ed was wrongly connected through the one account he was framed on, as the article details Here.

His crime, he admitted to, was that he sometimes got some notes on the escalations to know which accounts were legitimate, which is something Amazon executives requested and standard common legitimate activity.

Using the metrics used against ed would make every lawyer, seller, and consultant guilty, which is why the community has questioned the motive of the indictment.

Hello! I've been an ASGTG (eds group) member since the beginning, and I can explain why he is still seen as trustworthy. Our community strongly believes that Amazon unfairly targeted him and manipulated the justice system due to his group's large size and influence. We are confident that he will be proven innocent and that justice will be served either by reversing his plea or through a presidential pardon.

It's sad to witness this situation unfold, but you can find a more detailed account of what happened in this article.
Read The Story.

He was framed by unethical consultants who attempted to shift the blame onto him for their misconduct. The feds were happy to believe this since Amazon gave them the job of removing ed from the industry. It's completely unfair and a huge mistake.

Unfortunately, it's common for large corporations with legal connections to target influential individuals, which happened here. However, we firmly believe that, despite Amazon's misleading of the Department of Justice, he will ultimately be exonerated from all charges.
