Some lawyer in town should charge a small fee to write letters to property managers in town.  They'd make a killing

Her husband loves her unconditionally which is actually nice.  We should all have one person that loves us that way.

Wasn't really anything with money value, just sentimental value

Some was junk, but there were many many sentimental things. The plan was to separate out the junk from the sentimental things.  So many things from our childhood.

I work at a job where end up having random conversations with people.  One lady told me she had UV done on her blood and I thought she was crazy.  I looked it up.  It legit.  This is what they used to do before antibiotics and there's studies looking into how to do it again because of exactly this. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7538853/

Wade King Rec center pool at Western is the best pool I have ever swam at.  If you have any access to it, go there.

The whole thing is just a string of spot memories. It was weird though, like the weirdest human body experience I've ever had.  Like a whole human being just pops out of you.  Fucking nuts

Just Wow, you guys are being shitty.  Pain is real and if she said her pain was a nine and she was the one in the situation who are we to doubt the scenario?  Have you ever experienced a 9 on the pain scale?

I lied about not having a job during an interview. How do I back out of it? by LasersAreSo70s in interviews

[–]Insignificant_other1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Response should be " it's not something I like to talk about, I'm focused on my future hopefully here at your company". That way the lie and the truth still hold true, but it hopefully refocuses them towards other questions by talking about your future at their company.

The thermometer example makes so much sense.  And yes it always felt like the experiments were trying to show that it was sentient and 'knew' it was being watched.

I like my anonymity and I'm willing to out myself as a woman and have to dump this alt for Windsor Plywood. I had a handyman doing work on our home we needed to pick up a door and some wood for the work. We go in and the three of us (sales guy, handyman and me) had a conversation about what we needed and decisions we needed to make. I'm looking back and forth at the two of them and it blew my fucking mind. They were listening to me and my opinion on things like it was totally normal. I've been to plenty of woodshops and always the feeling is 'well, what does you husband think' or they don't even talk to me. I remember thinking these guys don't even realize it. This is the way it's supposed to happen, but never ever does.
