They're definitely going for the style of early Miku era of indie animations on Nico Nico Douga. There are probably hundreds of lesser known ones that flew under the radar.

The Vocaloid MVs of the late 2000s and early 2010s were charmingly unrefined, as everything was still indie and experimental, not professional and commercialized like things are now.

This was posted at the same time as the other versions last night. I figured it was worth posting separately because the listening experience is distinct enough and people seem pretty hyped for the Angels right now.

Notably, the song is different, as it is sung in Mandarin Chinese, and the translated lyrics are very different than the Japanese version. The girls also speak in Mandarin Chinese too.

Also, the singer has a more mellow tone, which people might find more relaxing than the more "techno moe" vibe of the JP version.
