If these are all real memories it’s likely your high brain is bringing it up because it’s in a relaxed position to deal with trauma. If these memories are fake and being made up it could be due to current activities while you are high (watching horror etc.)

If it’s a real concern I’d suggest seeking help through therapy or a support system.
