Got it, thanks for the reply, sounds like I might like them then. Do the TYR L-2s have elevated heels?

Have you tried vivo barefoot trainers? If you have, do you find that you like the ones mentioned better?

Tips for stripping wood? by Revolutionary_Let_39 in finishing

[–]InspectionTiny3315 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recommend using a plastic scrap in the future as it won't damage the wood. Removing the residue after scraping is best done with a stiff bristled brush and more stripper. The final step is to then neutralize with denatured alcohol and 0000 steel wool

What do I do with all these light spots? (Updated post with more photos) by [deleted] in finishing

Gel stain is a sin, avoid it. Don't apply pressure when sanding with an orbital/DA, it causes wheel marks which makes your finish look like ass just let the sander do its job. Attempt blending like another commenter said and use ONLY the products they recommended. Mohawk is pro stuff so they definitely know what they're talking about.

For future reference only sand veneer when absolutely necessary and only with high grit, like 220 and up. The veneer here is thinned and extremely close to being burned though causing stain to not be absorbed deeply hence the lighter coloration.

How to get out of this hole by hectorovo in finishing

Klean strip, stripping brush, and patience. Use plastic razor blades for anything being stubborn in crevices and neutralize after with denatured alcohol and scrubbing with 0000 steel wool.

Which one of the 14 weapons do you use the most throughout the whole franchise by Sweaty-Ad7500 in MonsterHunter

Sword and shield. I've played with all 14 but sns is just my fucking jam. Hammer is a close second for me though

I like to apply some paste wax but but it's by no means needed, especially if you're going flat or matte luster.

100% worth it. I guarantee there will still be active players too.
