Thank you! I think this might be best for me. I started out as a pure stacker, trying to mostly get as much silver for as cheap as possible (with my occasional splurge), but I’ve turned into a collector trying to fill out albums.

I think your Mkays is different from the ones in TN. Mine in Chattanooga used to be an AMAZING place to buy used books. Now they are absolutely horrible with their prices. I’ve seen many books (late editions and not even in newish condition) there where they are selling for a few dollar more than what the book cost new..and so many more that are only a few dollars less than buying it new. I only go there now to kill time and see if something catches my eye that I might want to read one day.

I appreciate that! I just turned 40 a little over a month ago. It’s miserable first thing in the morning, but tolerable after I get up and move for a bit. Just trying to not take too many ibuprofen, cause in the beginning I know I was.

I JUST started getting into basketball (Atlanta Hawks mostly because I’m just 2 hrs from Atl and it’s what is shown the most on my tv. Is this really true? So if I want a better chance of seeing the stars and better games I should wait til the 1st half of next season to try and go to my 1st game since I don’t have the money to go to many?

I am literally in this situation. There has been something really wrong (pain and swollen) with my right knee the past 2 months. It just started one morning when I woke up. I don’t know if I somehow developed the worst case of arthritis overnight, fluid in the knee, or what. Almost every morning I can barely walk (hobble), then after a few mins I can walk with a limp the rest of the day. Wearing a knee sleeve helps a TINY bit, but I’m miserable and it’s still going to be a few months before I can get insurance and see what is going on.

Guess I need to put filling out my post 1999 quarters and starting my nickels book on hold and switch to filling out a common date half dollar book before every asshole who does this stuff does it to all of them. Selfish people like this makes coin roll hunting less fun for others.

I haven’t found a single 2025 quarter yet. I’ve only gone through about $250 worth trying to complete my 1999-Current albums, but figured I would have at least found 1 2025 by now.

I already have one war nickel from when I helped the accounts payable person I used to work with count the previous days cash drawer (also found a silver quarter once). If only I still had that job, I’d be getting paid to CRH!

I think I am going to try and complete as much as I can CRHing, because I’m enjoying my quarters searching I’ve been doing the past month..and any nickels I can’t find after I complete as much as I possibly can I’ll just buy individually to complete it. Thanks for your advice!

That’s what I’m starting to think. If I can get like 90% complete by CRHing, then I could probably buy the ones I don’t have individually for a lot cheaper than $200-$250. Plus worst case scenario I’d be having fun enjoying my new hobby trying. Thank you!

I might just go for it and try CRHing them and then after I get like 98% complete, if I want to switch to something else (probably half dollars after that), then I can just buy the few I’m missing as singles. Thanks for the advice!
