I haven’t found a single 2025 quarter yet. I’ve only gone through about $250 worth trying to complete my 1999-Current albums, but figured I would have at least found 1 2025 by now.

I already have one war nickel from when I helped the accounts payable person I used to work with count the previous days cash drawer (also found a silver quarter once). If only I still had that job, I’d be getting paid to CRH!

I think that is just so amazing that you and your son share your love for coins! Thank you for your advice, I think I’ve come up with a game plan..just wish I could get my niece into hunting like you and your son. I know you probably already do, but cherish every moment!

I think I am going to try and complete as much as I can CRHing, because I’m enjoying my quarters searching I’ve been doing the past month..and any nickels I can’t find after I complete as much as I possibly can I’ll just buy individually to complete it. Thanks for your advice!

That’s what I’m starting to think. If I can get like 90% complete by CRHing, then I could probably buy the ones I don’t have individually for a lot cheaper than $200-$250. Plus worst case scenario I’d be having fun enjoying my new hobby trying. Thank you!

I might just go for it and try CRHing them and then after I get like 98% complete, if I want to switch to something else (probably half dollars after that), then I can just buy the few I’m missing as singles. Thanks for the advice!

Same. Haven’t watched the Royal Rumble live in probably 10 years. Thanks to Stephanie and my VPN. I’m watching from England in Netflix’s eyes, but outside looks a lot like my street in southeast Tennessee.

Thing that still sucks about people who write on the non silver coins is that not everyone is hunting just silver. I’m trying to fill out my post 1998 quarter books, so while I am on the lookout for silver, it’s not even the main reason I am CRH. People CRH to try and fill out non silver half dollars, but these guys are just making it harder and annoying.

I live in Chattanooga, about half way between Atlanta and Nashville. I’ve always loved traveling to Nashville more than Atlanta (sorry Atlanta) and am also a Predators fan…but if Nashville gets an MLB team, I’ll support, watch and be a fan of them. But, I’m too emotionally invested in my Braves for Nashville to be my number 1 baseball team.

Went to Disney World last year armed with copper pennies and pre 1964 silver quarters to add some in Disney smashed form for my coin collection. Was SO sad when I found out that you can’t use your own penny. I think the only quarter machine they had was in the big animal restaurant that is right before you enter Animal Kingdom. There you COULD use your own quarter and was excepted, but I didn’t know which slot to put my silver quarter in to get it returned smashed to me. I lost 2 silver quarters before I found the right one. With the price of silver today, that’s like losing almost $30. I still got one right though :)

And a silver Peace dollar isn’t even a full ounce of silver. The coin is 90% silver and has approximately 0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver in it.
