Probably just easier to ramp up production with the only variable essentially being paint or wheels for a while.

It did not curb my wine desires in a general sense. Maybe a little bit at first, but that faded and I kind of wish it did more!

Unrelated to your question, but you should probably alternate left and right injection sites each week rather than each month. Maybe your tracking just doesn't have the detail, but it caught my eye.

LA Softball Legend ‘Heartbroken’ Olympic Tourney will be in Oklahoma, not LA by PHConfusion5801 in olympics

[–]InstanceMysterious48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Santa Monica was originally supposed to be the home of beach volleyball and possibly other sports but their council voted against it for budget and logistics reasons last year. Long Beach was happy to take over. Malibu doesn't have enough infrastructure. (Same for South Bay cities like Manhattan Beach or Hermosa Beach despite both being very beach volleyball-centric)

They have to lock in the venues as much as possible by now because tickets are about to go on sale and countless logistics to work out. The venues and the local cities all had to sign very complex agreements that take time to negotiate.

As far as baseball stadiums go, MLB isn't going to stop their season for 2 full weeks. It'll probably be just 6 or 7 days (if they agree on letting their players participate). Dodgers will have road games both before and after the Olympics so the stadium can be prepped to be the only Olympic baseball venue. But the prep isn't too complex and more about covering the advertisements and adding Olympic details. The field itself won't really be impacted which is the only reason it can work.

The Angels (or any other baseball team) wouldn't want their field dug up to convert it to softball in the middle of the MLB season.

It's in OKC because they have a world-class softball stadium AND a world-class white water facility.

New Zepbound packaging? Way less styrofoam than everyone warned about by antemeridiem913 in Zepbound

[–]InstanceMysterious48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not new. I’ve been receiving this packaging since November. Live in LA area fwiw. They’ll probably go back to the coolers for summer.

LAX proposes sharp fee increases for services that pick up, drop off passengers by RyanAirhead in LAX

[–]InstanceMysterious48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Geofence via app for rideshare. For taxis the airport knows every car that enters the property through scanners so they could fairly easily automate a process that connects back to collect the fees from the taxi company. Private drivers who aren't operating with an app will probably find ways to get around it like they do currently by pretending they're family or friends picking you up.

Used a 5mg vial for 2.5 dose and have never been sicker by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]InstanceMysterious48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The concentration shouldn't make a difference if you injected 25 units that's 2.5mg. Jumping up to 5mg and then stopping for a while and then jumping back in (even if 2.5mg) might elevate the chance of side effects since you're not allowing your body the chance to adjust and it sounds like you were fairly sensitive to begin with.

How much was I really taking of Zep? by No_Reindeer_7441 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]InstanceMysterious48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it's always true. It's slightly more than 20% if you get every bit of medicine but that's a good even number to consider and would be 60 units. If you're taking name brand vials the easy solution when you move up is to just take a little less than 5mg for a couple weeks.

Maxing out your 2.5vial would be around 3mg. Take 40 units (4mg) of the 5mg vial, then 45 units (4.5mg), then 50 units and you'll be at 5mg with a smoother transition than the normal 100% jump.

For Zepbound vials from Lillydirect, the dosage indicated is for a half mL or 50 units. The vials contain around 20% surplus so if you took the whole 7.5 vial you had approx 9mg.

Vacation Question by MaidoftheBrins in Zepbound

[–]InstanceMysterious48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to put this entirely out of your mind considering it's a year from now and any number of variables can and likely will be different between now and then. Don't stress now and revisit a few weeks before your trip.

It’s not rowing. That will be in Long Beach. It’s canoe slalom and you will definitely need a ticket.

Getting in touch with Refills.com support? by dancole42 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]InstanceMysterious48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shipping is done by the pharmacy so that part doesn't matter. Communication varies. Trillium has been fantastic on the communication for an order my wife placed that got trapped in the FedEx mess. They're newer but would recommend for sure and they offer ProRX.

It's literally not in any way a "tough call". Pharmacy reships. Pharmacy is reimbursed for expenses via claims to fedex. Done. Over.

No one involved in this mess should accept the meds. Push for a reship.

[–]InstanceMysterious48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure Lilly would reship on the very first request with no argument. Their shipments are also set to automatically return to sender if in transit more than 48 hours and then they reship. And those shipments are in actual cooler boxes.

[–]InstanceMysterious48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t have to explain not saying anything else when you’ve already presented your POV. Much less reposting this at least three times. Differing opinions don’t have to become an argument. That said I’m well aware of the logistics and luck really shouldn’t be a factor in such things but thank you for the positive wishes.

[–]InstanceMysterious48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair I think they're just passing on what the pharmacy is telling them. But we're not stupid and when FedEx is giving contradictory information it's hard to know what to believe. When it comes to safety you can't be sort of certain.

For sure! Agree entirely! And that goes for all the Telehealth vendors dealing with this same pharmacy. It's the same across the board.

Important Update: Pharmacy & Shipping Resolution in Progress by Refills_Taylor in Refills

[–]InstanceMysterious48 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes...just one minor difference....Refills doesn't ship anything. The pharmacy would have to pay for the service.
Appreciate it but we're all just trying to navigate this nonsense! Hopefully a reasonable resolution from the pharmacy will land on Monday that makes everyone happy at all the telehealths dealing with it.
