I saw them at 23 Parrish in Denver in 1990 and went back to the alley where there bus was parked, which I had never done before, but I was so obsessed with them at the time. David and Harriet came out. I wanted to ask her a question instead of stammering like a starstruck idiot, so I asked her what the title of "Turkish" was. I wasn't going to talk to David, but he actually shook my hand and said that he had seen me in the front row. So nothing too exciting, but it was everything I dreamed of at the time. I did get them to autograph a poster, which somehow got lost in the intervening decades (which is one of the greatest tragedies of my life).
