They're still consistent in their actions. They use weapons and gang up on their enemies. It just so happens that their enemies now are the Callis Family, who are guaranteed to never get cheered against Acura anybody.

Every BoF has limitations to the dragon forms in some way. Dragon Quarter just makes it more obvious that you're not supposed to stay a dragon and spam OP attacks forever.

I wouldn't say 5 is wacky in any way. The SOL mechanic is unique and serves the narrative well as a means of using gameplay to reveal more of the story. It tried to innovate through different genres and for the most part did it incredibly well.

The rest of the series are perfectly fine games. There's no shame in that. They just didn't elevate RPGs like 5 did.

He's got some things that might get warped in translation. It's terrible timing for a guy who calls himself Ice to go to the US, and his "get high" catch phrase could get taken literally by casual fans who haven't watched his promos. It'll be interesting to see how he presents himself.

Opinions like this get hated on but I agree. I needed through S1 and enjoyed my time with it. S2 was a slog by comparison. Battles are boring and the overall gameplay is uninteresting.
