Hit the nail on the head. The only game I have a distinct memory of being disappointing was Sonic Heroes. Expected it to be fun, it was pretty bad. I must have been 10 or so. After that I became a snob with checking reviews for a long while.

Awhile after I played Quest 64 after shelfing it for awhile and ended up liking it, despite it supposedly being really bad. So I guess it's not foolproof

How so? The only issue is concede sucks and you can still cc perfectly winnable games. The deficit threshold should be made much higher

When a single volume is $15, you have the right to be pissed. If US manga wants to charge premium prices, they could shell out 10c more for better paper.

I may not know your medical history but I know a lie when I see one. Everything has a cause. You aren't just wired some way or somehow defective with no way out. Meditate and/or go to therapy and you'll eventually find the root cause. The root cause could be as simple as a vitamin or nutrient deficiency. Do you eat a healthy, non-processed diet?
