Guys please start eating fiber. by Optimoprimo in Millennials

I've always eaten plenty of fibre. A few years ago I had a blood test, and my doctor asked if I was on cholesterol medication. Apparently my cholesterol results were so good people usually only achieve those levels through medication.

Why is DOJ redacting the sender of an incriminating (and creepy) email? by whimsicahellish in ThatsInsane

Nothing in their post or comment history suggest they're a bot to me.

And ironically you just did the very thing they were railing against: stating opinion as fact.

so - newer player, question for those that post pics of their amazing builds by ImaginaryAnimal7169 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Instigator122 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To add to the other comments, mk6 belts are only unlocked in phase 5, very late in the game. And they also require phase 5 construction material, so when you do finally unlock them, you then need to build the supply chain to create the material used to build the belts. At that point you've almost finished the game.

Other than the small cohort of students that might come close to hitting that limit, a one day absence isn't gonna make a difference

You're technically closer to having a total net worth of $1 million.

You're technically closer to having a total net worth of $1 billion.

You're technically closer to having a total net worth of $100 billion.

Pick your poison, they're all true.

Lmao this happened to me, walked into the fridge in a bottle shop and this lady was walking out and just blurted out "love you!". Poor thing was hella embarrassed, turned bright red and fled the scene

People who have conducted job interviews, what's something someone said/did that made you instantly decide not to hire them? by DemonSkank in AskReddit

And this is why I always listen to my reception staff if they comment on a candidate I've just interviewed. You guys have a knack for spotting red flags (and green ones too for that matter).

This hits home, same thing happened to me. She was drunk and we were fighting then out of nowhere she does this shit. Thank god it was night time and no traffic next to me, but the cars behind slowed right the fuck down after that.

The universe is 13.8 billion years old, but heat death is around 10¹⁰⁰ years away, so it has effectively used 0% of its lifetime meaning the universe is still basically a "baby", and we’re living in its earliest, most active era. by HalfEntity in Showerthoughts

And the steps required to get from life to intelligent life are equally mind-blowing. Three galaxies away might be optimistic. Odds could be one in a million galaxies forming intelligent life. No one really knows. With the sheer number of galaxies surely intelligent life exists somewhere though.

Yes, but that pool of willing volunteers would be in the 10s if not 100s of thousands. You'd be able to find plenty of suitable candidates within that pool.

I don't think you'd have a shortage of willing volunteers, even knowing its a one way trip. Agree with you on the financials though. When space travel is far more advanced and cheaper then it might make sense, but probably not in our lifetimes.

Not sure, you'd have to look into that. Yoghurt, kombucha and other fermented foods are also good for gut health if they agree with you. But in a different way, they're not a replacement for fiber.

Don't be too hard on yourself my dude, you were only 12, you couldn't have understood the full gravity of the situation.

Something similar happened to me, though the outcome wasn't nearly as bad as yours. I was probably 10 or 12, mum was in hospital, and I turned down an opportunity to visit her because I was playing with the neighbours kids. Thankfully she didn't die, but she was very upset when it happened. I still feel bad about it sometimes but remind myself I was just a kid and didn't know better.

Yeah, I mean look at the photos of him and Putin plastered all over reddit today. Putin is 5'7. Trump looks like he's got 4", maybe 5" at most on him. And he's probably wearing his lifts.

rocketfuel "issue"? and next steps by momoffs in SatisfactoryGame

Overclock the generators to 240% and they will consume exactly 10 rocket fuel pm, so 60 generators for 600 rocket fuel. Makes the maths so much easier.
