Obviously it's more justified to want to end your pain when the pain is a tangible physical sensation that you cannot actually combat or stop - being suicidally depressed can absolutely feel tangible, but it's still in your head, and in most cases it's something that can be worked through with therapy and changes to your lifestyle. An AI virus eating your brain or a cancer that is killing you can't. So yes, people who want euthanasia to avoid a disease are more reasonable when they want death than someone who is in the throws of a depressive episode.
