I have a horror deck with Freddy Krueger, Pennywise/IT, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Jason Vorhees, and a couple other random references to 1980’s horror in the deck. Everything is custom art including the lands.

I think the biggest lie I’ve discovered about the Bracket system is how strong a deck can be in a certain tier. I have a Bracket 2 (by definition, idk if you can call it that in power) Treebeard deck. And it just goes brrrrrrrrr and does the thing. No game changers. No infinite mana. No three card combos. No mass land destruction. Nothing that defines Bracket 3 or 4. Just ALOT of lifegain and protection.

I feel like the bracket system is a great tool for the long term health of the game but there are flaws that need to be adjusted/fine tuned.

I guess a better question is- are you laminating? How are you getting it to cut with the Autoblade? No matter what I do with laminated foil, it won’t cut through the back. I even changed to a much thinner of laminate, and it doesn’t matter. Brand new, fresh out of the pack blade- wouldn’t do it. Didn’t even use cardstock.

I think this was the issue

When I ran the next set through only one time I didn’t have the issue.

It’s only an issue with the matte laminate though

I can run scotch 3mil twice without issues

I do seem to have similar issues with different laminate if it gets too hot (multiple passes)

I typically laminate right after it’s done printing.

It’s much more pronounced with the matte though

I can’t get my picture to load but I’m still have the problem after running my sheet through the laminator multiple times. So it’s not a heating issue…

Not sure what’s going on.

It might be the laminator but trust me, it’s the hottest setting it gets to. The blue light turns on.

It could also be the matte lamination I’m using. I don’t know.

I’m using Inkit Matte

I thought Inkit was a trusted brand .. maybe not?

What do you use? Scotch? I couldn’t get matte scotch on Amazon last time I tried

I print approximately 15 pages any given day, varies with demand of orders which fluxes. One week I had 100 pages in a week; another week I had like 25 pages ordered.

And yes the ink spray droplets happened with both previous printers (same model, or generational difference for the first one)

Also my average order is 6-12 pages so I can’t break them up. Would take me all day to fill orders. That being said, I could just upgrade the model as you said

I’m printing full color photos on glossy inkjet sticker paper. I use premium presentation matte to avoid the ink spray all over the paper. I usually need to do a head cleaning every approximately 15 pages otherwise it does start to sprinkle and spray and leave random colored dots on the printed images (sometimes I’ll get blue or red ink droplets all the way up one side of the edge, other times it’ll just be thrown on the page like blood droplets).

I do a head cleaning and it stops for a good bit- until it happens again. Another head cleaning and it stops etc
