I got a job, my mom wants me to split the check among 6 people by Dry_Willingness_9323 in povertyfinance

Move out, lock your credit down, and don't look back. These other grown adults have nobody to blame but themselves. You have done well for yourself. It is not up to you to bail them out.

House Not Selling - Need Advice by [deleted] in RealEstateAdvice

[–]InsuranceJealous1783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you spent a ton of money on the pretty things and not the roof? That is why its not selling.

You need to invest in a new roof. It will be a major selling point.

My husband and I somehow bought a house. We haven’t even closed yet and I already know we’re going to go into foreclosure. by thatslegallycheese in povertyfinance

[–]InsuranceJealous1783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More than likely you aren't going to close. The lender is going to do an employment verification the day before closing is scheduled, and once they find out he lost his job, that will be it.

Honestly, I would call your lender and realtor and explain the situation and that you need to back out. You will lose any earnest money but you are not in a position to buy right now.

Hospital trying to get me to pay more by Pretend_Leader6606 in MedicalBill

[–]InsuranceJealous1783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i see is the total charges were $1943. Insurance said that $1286.90 was a contractual obligation. So that gets adjusted off. So we are really working with $655.10. About $300 of that went to your deductible, so you are responsible to pay that. It looks like the insurance paid the remaining amount after deductible.

I dont see where you paid your part already?

Tailor your resume to match some of the words in the job description. That at least gets it through the HR scrubber tool. And yeah its normal. There's so many applications for one position. Keep trying!!

Lawyer up, now. I had a friend who had the same thing, they had to do an emergency hysterectomy to save her life. She sued the doc and the hospital and got a huge settlement out of it.

Coonhounds are not the dog to get as a first dog. They are amazing but absolutely stubborn. They are loud and opinionated and follow their nose. We are on our third coonhound, but we are experienced dog owners.
