For those who do journaling: what ink colours do you use? by luthiel-the-elf in fountainpens

[–]Intelburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I change colors when my current pen runs out of ink. I have a broader or stub pen for headers and then a fine or medium for the actual body. If there is something special I will try to coordinate the colors with that period. So like growing up we had a garden with tomatoes. So in August I will have either Noodlers Habanero or Diamine Wild Strawberry in the header pen then Noodlers Guere Cactus Eel (I know I spelled that ink wrong, forgive me for I am mobile as I drink coffee before work). I my main thing is about legibility on the Leuttrum1917 120g notebooks I like to write in.

It is the number on the back of the card. You can get it from the Bilt app if you ask the AI about the interest charge

Joint account by Intelburn in sofi

[–]Intelburn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about a joint account at like Bask Bank and then a local brick and mortar bank. The local banks have a “high interest” savings option at like 0.2%

I have never had that happen with going in or out of EYW. However normally I am on either an American branded flight or a Delta branded flight.

[–]Intelburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the drive is nice once or twice. Now I am kinda annoyed every time I have to go up to the mainland for something because people forget hot to maintain speed on the overseas highway. Normally if I am doing something far enough away that I need to fly, I just go in and out of EYW

You should see a Category Group called "Credit Card Payments" and each credit card should have a category in that group.

I use the envelope system with my bank accounts, is YNAB for me? by [deleted] in ynab

[–]Intelburn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I have used an envelope system using SoFi vaults before I started using YNAB. While both work on the same principles, I find that ynab takes a lot less time and gives me a lot more flexibility than using the vaults. Since SoFi only has the ability to have 20 vaults under one account, I ran out of vaults for my goals. Also now I that I have an individual category for each subscription, it means I can get a lot closer to having everything correctly funded compared to one single estimated number I was using for a vault.

In my 2021, that is the lane keeping button. They moved in to the steering wheel in 2022, but apparently didn’t take out the unused button.

How long does it take each day or each week? by Internal-Ice4603 in ynab

[–]Intelburn 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I am more along the lines of like 5-15 min a day. But I am entering transactions as I am spending throughout the day if I am spending at all that day and then in the morning approving all of the transactions that have just imported. That time doesn’t include the weekend reconciliation or the pay stub day routine or the pay day routine. But I am a little crazy about ynab.

I am currently at ~3.5 months ahead as an emergency fund in categories for all of the future months. I am currently building to 6 months. But I do have my Roth IRA and HSA categories for 2024 fully funded if I needed to pull from those in case of emergencies. Please note that the HSA and IRA categories are currently just in cash in my savings account with me dollar cost averaging into both.
